Senior Fullstack Developer (Python & Angular)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to help build next-generation AI-powered applications for the banking industry. You'll join an established engineering team working on cloud-native platforms, modern web applications, and LLM-based chatbot solutions that leverage the latest advances in generative AI.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll contribute across the entire stack, from building Python backend services and Angular frontends to designing secure APIs, integrating AI services, and deploying applications to Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain modern full-stack applications using Python and Angular.
• Build new features while improving and maintaining existing applications.
• Design and implement REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Develop and optimize AI-powered chatbot solutions using modern LLM frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and product teams in an agile Scrum environment.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and GitLab pipelines.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and production-ready.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Contribute to infrastructure, security, and AI integration initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong Python development experience (Java is a plus).
• Experience with Angular 21 or newer.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Helm, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience working with agile teams, preferably Scrum.
• Good German language skills and fluent English.
• Nice to have: experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or A2A.
• Nice to have: experience building LLM-powered chatbot solutions.
• Nice to have: knowledge of prompt engineering and OpenAI integrations.
• Nice to have: understanding of AI application security, including content moderation, guardrails, rate limiting, and spam protection.
• Nice to have: experience with network infrastructure and application security.
• Nice to have: knowledge of cloud-native application architecture.
